Life Care Center of Greeneville, Tennessee, recently won the Business Development Award of Excellence for Life Care Centers of America’s Appalachian Region.

On Dec. 5, 2017, Life Care’s Eastern Division held a banquet at the company’s headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee, bestowing honors on one skilled nursing and rehab facility per each of its five regions.

Life Care Center of Greeneville was nominated for becoming part of a new program, Purple Cities Alliance. The goal of the alliance is to create awareness in the community about dementia and to give businesses resources for dealing with customers who have dementia.

“We want our community to learn about dementia and to help those with dementia and their caregivers feel safer,” said Hope Broyles, director of business development at Life Care Center of Greeneville.
